Tango des Tages: “Tango solitario” – Orquestra Dajo Béla
Solidarität wird zur Zeit viel von uns allen gefordert.
Dajos Béla ist kein reiner Tangomusiker, er gehörte vielmehr zu den Allroundern seiner Zeit. Seine Tanz-Orchester waren sehr beliebt und boten Arrangements der neuesten Modetänze der Zeit, wie Charleston, Boston, Twostep und insbesondere auch Tango, bis hin zum Jazz.

Heute machen wir eine Reise in die frühe Zeit des Tangos und es steht die Frage im Raum, wer eigentlich die erste Tangosängerin war, deren Gesang aufgenommen wurde. Es gab tatsächlich mehr Sängerinnen, als man aufgrund der wenigen Aufnahmen vermuten würde. Die „Historiker“ sind sich jedoch nicht einig, wer tatsächlich die erste war. Die Auftritte von Andrée Vivianne im Teatro Casino wurden zumindest als erste in der Zeitung „La Nación“ im Jahr 1903 angekündigt. „Portenito“ ist die wahrscheinlich die erste, heute noch erhaltene Aufnahme von Vivianne aus dem Jahr 1904/05.
